Description
Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’
Perennial native cultivar
Hybrid of native U.S. species and a Korean species (A. foeniculum x A. rugosa)
Height: 2 to 3 feet
Width: 1 1/2 to 2 feet
Flower color: blue/purple
Bloom time: summer/fall
Light needed: sun, part sun
Soil needed: dry and sandy (light, well drained)
Notes: Good pollinator plant. It is tolerant of dry soils and heat once established but it will not tolerate heavy clay or poorly draining soils. It will do well in a raised bed or on a slope to help increase drainage.
Attracts butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, songbirds
Resistant to deer and rabbits
