Description
Aster ‘Snow Flurry’
Aster ericoides ‘Snow Flurry’
Perennial native cultivar
Height: 6 to 8 inches
Width: 2 feet
Flower color: white with yellow disc on prostrate cascading branches
Bloom time: late summer/fall
Light needed: sun
Soil needed: Excels in its ability to handle dry soil in full-sun sites. It is particularly well-adapted to rock gardens or any location with lean soils and sharp drainage. However, it also performs in richer soils with less light. Once established the plant is more drought-tolerant.
Notes: It makes a great groundcover and is an effective plant for late season pollinators. Attracts butterflies especially migrating monarchs in the fall, specialized bees, small mammals and songbirds
Resistant to deer
