Description

Salvia, ‘Black and Blue’
Salvia guaranitica ‘Black and Blue’

Perennial native cultivar  plant

Height:  2 to 5 feet

Width:  2  to 5 feet

Flower color:  blue and black

Bloom time:  summer, fall

Light needed:  sun

Soil needed:  They prefer rich loamy soils that are moist and well-drained.

Notes:  Hummingbirds fight over the flowers.  They are a member of the mint family so they will spread but not aggressively.

Attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds
Resistant to deer and rabbits
